The most visited websites in 2008

What were the the most visited websites in 2008? ComScore has compiled a ranking based on visits in November, and the result is a mix of social networks and blogging platforms.

Blogger, the Google’s blogging platform, has reached an average of 222 million unique visitors worldwide in November, while Facebook has reached 200 millions of visits. Facebook however, compared to November 2007, had a growth of 116% of the visits.

MySpace is at the third place with 126 million visits, Wordpress is fourth, while Windows Live Space had a decline in the last year from just under 150 million visits in 2007 to 87 million visits in November 2008.
Then we notice that the blogging platforms are at the top of the rankings regarding to the visits, while Facebook is collecting the larger catchment area stealing users not only to other social networks, but to all the other sites.
