It was created to be a tool to educate potential clients and others about the service and to give an understanding of what is good and what is bad.

Why? It’s purely selfish really. It’s because it is actually is much easier to work with clients and provide an SEO service if they know a bit about the service and what is involved.

Yes, we are also an SEO service provider and would love to do your project, but hopefully the information in this site will give you a head start and help you make a good decision in selecting a service provider or assist you in helping your self.

SEO Costs and Timeframes

It is hard to give definite costs and time frames as SEO is a service that needs to carefully consider your individual situation but here is a guide…

Cost: As mentioned previously, search engine optimisation is not a cheap service. Be wary of anyone offering packages for $100 per month – some even less.

A good entry point is around $300 to $400 per month. This will get you a reasonable effort on your Local SEO from a decent service provider.

For more national businesses and businesses that require more growth, then you should budget for $750 + per month. More extensive campaigns can easily run into the thousands.

Timeframes: The effects are not instant. If you need instant results, you may need to look at other marketing methods like Google Adwords.

You should start to see early results though in the first month. This may be some increases in keyword ranking and small traffic gains. In 2 to 4 months you will see more progressive gains in rankings and traffic. After 4 months you should be seeing a definite ROI and be hitting campaign goals. See more here. Read More >>

How it Works: 2 Fundamentals

Content on Your Site: the content you your site is what tells the search engines what your site is all about. It tells them what industry or niche you are relevant to and what keywords you should be shown for.

Links to Your Site: Links to your site in effect act like votes for you site, pushing it up the search results. Basically, out of 2 very similar sites, if one has 2 links and the other has 10 links, then the one with 10 links will be shown higher. There are other factors, and not all links are equal but you get the idea. Read More >>
